A wonderful pair of Arts & Crafts solid silver jugs / coffee pot & hot water jug in a spectacular octagonal panelled pattern. The set features one large and one smaller jug. The ewers each have a wide octagonal base has 8 panels curving in a concave direction up towards an octagonal rim. The Pots have a hinged domed lid and magnificent handles. Each ewer is gilded on the interior surface. The exterior surface features a subtle hammered pattern so typical of the Arts & Crafts Movement.
Made by Omar Ramsden in London in 1937.
