A magnificent Antique Victorian Silver Teapot in a pear shape and featuring ornate chased and applied images of people revelling and drinking in the style of the Dutch Painter David Teniers the Younger, who known for his detailed depictions of peasants in this manner. The Antique Teapot is fully embellished on all exterior surfaces except the underside and has an impressive figural finial on the lid. The Spout has a stylised eagles head at the top and a Pan figure on base of the spout. The Teapot stands on four shell and figural feet.

Each aspect of this Teapot is created with an impressive attention to detail and care to ensure all parts are equally fine. The Teapot is of notably excellent quality and heavy weight.

Made in London, England in 1839 by Edward Farrell.
