An impressive Antique Georgian Silver Boxed Tea Caddy Set comprising of a pair of Silver Tea Caddies, a lidded Silver Sugar Bowl, a set of 12 Teaspoons and a Mote Spoon. The bodies of the Caddies and sugar bowl are chased on the lid, body and foot and the spoons have a delicate foliate design which complements the design of the Caddies. The Set is presented in a fitted case with a red velvet interior and a black leather exterior with silver trim.

Made in London, England in 1765 by Samuel Taylor.

Approx. Length mote spoon - 13.5cm

The Tea Caddies and Sugar Bowl have full English Hallmarks. The spoons are unmarked Solid Silver of a contemporary date.

This Set is on excellent condition with no damage to the silver. Minor cosmetic wear to the leather on the case.
