A beautiful antique George I sterling silver teapot featuring a lovely delicate engraved band where the body and lid meet. This early Georgian bachelor sized teapot has a wooden handle and stands on a spread foot. The teapot has a small crest engraved on the side.

Made in London in 1723 by William Fawdry.

This teapot is has a full English Hallmark on the underside and part marked on the lids.
The teapot is in excellent condition with a wonderful patina commensurate with age and use.
