A classic pair of early Georgian Silver Salts. These George II Salts are in a classic elongated octagonal trencher shape, concave in the centre of the side and with an oval sunken well in centre. The Salts are unadorned as is typical of the period and have a simple engraved pair of initials on the one side (EW).

Made in London in 1727 by Edward Wood.

These Salts are in excellent condition with no damage and a lovely patina commensurate with age and use.
