A rare Antique German Solid Silver Model of a Donkey with removable panier baskets. This pair of Baskets allows for the use of the Donkey as a novel condiment cruet with room for salt and pepper in the basket pinch pots. The panier baskets have parcel guilt straps with engraved buckles. The Donkey itself is created with a wonderful attention to detail and a highly expressive face.
Made in Germany in c. 1860 by Schott.
