A magnificent, Art Deco Sterling Silver Box. This elegant Art Deco Freedom Style Box has an understated elegance and stands on 4 feet. The Box is embellished with a beautifully engraved Armorial showing the Arms of the City of London. The interior of the base of the Silver Box is lined in wood.
This Box is of excellent quality and substantial proportions. It is shaped in the style of a Freedom Box but is suitable as a Cigar or Cigarette Box as there is a wood lining as well as perfect on a desk.
Made in London, England in 1957. Maker's Mark un-ascribed.
