Finely modelled Vintage Italian Solid Silver Model Horse standing with the head slightly turned, the figure with a textured body and naturalistically chased mane and tail. The well-observed head with alert ears and pronounced eyes lends the piece a lively character, while the compact proportions and subtly stylised musculature are typical of mid-20th-century European decorative animal models.
Made in Italy in c. 1950 and modelled in 800 standard solid silver.
