An impressive set of three Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Baskets of substantial size. Each Basket is pierces in a basket weave pattern and features a pierced and applied border to the upper rim and the spread foot on the base. The upper rim and base also feature a classic gadroon pattern border. These Silver Baskets are of a size suitable as a striking centrepiece and as large fruit or serving baskets and the set is comprised of one large oval central basket and a pair of slightly smaller circular baskets. Each Basket has an engraved crest on the inner centre featuring a bird about a scroll bearing the motto Aut mors aut victoria, "Either death or victory".

Made in London, England in 1907 by Carrington & Co.
