A pair of Antique Sterling Silver Candlesticks with acanthus leaf covered classic Corinthian style capitals above a column wrapped in acorn covered vines. The base of the Candlesticks feature a concave shape embellished with classical urns surrounded by scroll designs above an elegant band of gadroon borders. The Candlesticks are loaded for extra stability.
Made in London in 1905 one stick hallmarked for Thomas Bradbury and one for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths. Despite the different makers the Sticks are Identical.
Approx. Height - 25.2cm
Approx. Width of Base - 11cm.
Signed/Inscribed: Full English Hallmarks on Each.
These Candlesticks are in good condition with no damage.
