A pair of beautiful Antique Solid Silver Wine Bottle Coasters with an elegant gilded finish. The coasters have and ornate pierced design on the sides and a leaf and scroll boarder on the rim. The gilded silver base of each of the Wine Coasters are engraved with a gryphon crest surrounded by an detailed scroll and foliate border.
Made in London, England in 1838 by Edward, Edward jr, John & William Barnard.
Approx. Diameter to edge of rim - 18.1cm / 7.13inches
Approx. Interior Diameter - 11.1cm / 5.47inches
Each Coaster has a Full English Hallmark on the exterior and a part Hallmark on the interior.
These Bottle Coasters are in excellent condition. The gilding also in excellent condition with little to no wear.
