A magnificent oversized Antique George II Sterling Silver Lidded Tankard with a classic slightly tapered straight sided form. This Early Georgian Solid Silver Tankard has an impressive scroll handle culminating in a impressive thumb piece. The Tankard has a hinged Lid with a acorn shaped finial. This George II Tankard is notably large and impressive.
Made in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1731 by William Jameson.
