Large Antique Sterling Silver Swing Handled Cake Basket Georgian Style 1912

A magnificent Antique Solid Silver Basket in a classic Georgian Style. This Silver Swing Handled Basket in of notably impressive weight and size. Following the Georgian Style and made in the early 20th century this Antique Baskets stands on four scroll feet and is embellished with an ornate chased and pierced design. This design has floral, foliate and scroll patterns, classical faces and more modern dragon fly imagery. The swing handle is decorated with complimentary designs.

Made in London, England in 1912 by Charles Stuart Harris.
