A magnificent Antique George II Sterling Silver Lidded Tankard with a classic tapering straight sided body and standing on a substantial spread pedestal foot. This oversized Tankard has a domed lid with a finial embellished with a stylised scrolled leaf thumb piece. The Tankard has an impressive scroll handle.
Made in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1731 by William Jamieson.
