Antique Victorian Silver Gilt Posy Holders 1875 Tussie Mussie Flower Vase, Pair

A magnificent, rare pair of Antique sterling Silver Gilt & Turquoise Posy Holders presented in a fitted case. These beautiful Silver Posy Holders have an elegant spring mechanism to allow them to stand as small table vases. The Posy Holders feature a row of cabochon Turquoise stones inset below a traditional beaded rim and above a delicate row of chains. The body of the each Posy Holder as a subtle engraved design above a second row of turquoise cabochons.

Made in London, England in 1875 by Alexander MacRae.
