An Antique Victorian Sterling Silver & Cut Glass Claret Jug. This Victorian Wine Jug as an oval cut glass body embellished with a beautiful stylised floral and foliate patterning on the upper portion and repeating liner pattern on the lower portion separated by a pierced silver band with a delicate beaded border. The Silver neck and hinged lid feature complimentary chased floral, foliate and scroll patterns.
Made in London, England in 1894 by Charles Edward Nixon.
Approx. Height - 29.7cm
This Claret Jug has a full English Hallmark on the Neck.
The Victorian Claret Jug is in excellent condition with no damage.
