A fine Victorian Solid Silver Biscuit Box, of straight sided circular form with a domed hinged cover and finial, standing on a matching attached silver tray with two scroll handles.
The box is finely engraved with floral and foliate decoration, star motifs and a central floral garland, with beaded borders throughout. The cover is similarly decorated and surmounted by a decorative finial.
Made in London, England in 1869 by J, E, W & J Barnard.
