A wonderful Antique Silver & Enamel Cigarette Case with an enamel image on the front of the plain polished silver case. This enamel image is a rare design created in with luxurious whites and greys and a beautiful attention to detail. The design shows a woman wrapped in a white ermine fur coat against a pale grey background. The colours used in her face and the richly detailed band on her hat sand out against this subtle background. The interior is lightly gilded.
Made in Austria - Hungary in c. 1910 and marked Marton Budapest.
