A magnificent Antique German Silver Cup & Cover in a historismus Renaissance Style. This tall steeple style cup has is decorated with an ornate chased design with a hunting theme. The monumental Cup features two large oval cartouches with hunting scenes in relief surrounded by further hunting designs and scroll work. The cup has a domed fitted lid with an impressive hunting themed finial. The Cup is gilded on the interior.
Made in Germany in c. 1890.
