Antique Georgian Silver Cup & Cover Lidded Trophy 1773

An Antique George III Sterling Silver Cup & Cover embellished with a classic swag and bow chased design. The Swags encircle oval cartouches on both sides of the trophy and each cartouche has a monogram engraved in the centre. The swag and bow design is mirrored on the lid and foot of the trophy. The Trophy has a pair of classic acanthus leaf topped scroll handles and an impressive finial on the lid.

Made in London, England in 1773 by Richard Gardner.
