Antique George II Sterling Silver Two Handled Cup & Cover / Lidded Trophy, 1754

A beautiful antique George II two handled cup and cover in a Classic Georgian Style. The cup has two impressive acanthus leaf topped scroll handles and stands on a spread pedestal foot. The body of the trophy has a central band and a large armorial engraved on one side. The trophy has a fitted domed lid with a large finial.
Made in London in 1754 by Thomas Whipham.
