Antique George II Sterling Silver Caddy Set in Wooden Case 1750 / 51

A beautiful Set of 3 Antique George II Silver Caddies in a fitted wooden case. This Set comprises of a pair of straight sided Silver Tea Caddies and a round domed lidded sugar bowl. Each Caddy is embellished with bands of chased and engraved floral and foliate designs on the shoulders and base of the body and on the lid of the sugar bowl. The two Tea Caddies have original lead liners (now fixed). Each Caddy has an engraved armorial. The Fitted Case is made of Rosewood with a Brass inlay.
