A beautiful Antique George II Silver Gilt Cup and Cover embellished with delicate, ornate Rococo style engravings on the body of the Cup and on the domed lid. The Body of the Cup has a cartouche on each side and each features an engraved crest. The lid features a further two cartouches with engraved crests and is further engraved Dr Hemut Oschmend Gedachtnis - Pokal 1.1.95. (Memorial Cup).

Made in London in 1738 by John Swift.

This Cup & Cover has full English Hallmarks on the Lid & Body, as well as French Import marks on the same.
