An elegant pair of Antique German Solid Silver & Glass Claret Jugs with solid silver mounted necks, lids and handles on cut glass bodies. The silver necks and lids of the Jugs are decorated with ornate chased patterns and the design on the handle complements the chased patterning perfectly.
These Claret Jugs were made in Germany in circa 1890 by E. Wage.
The Silver is 800 standard silver.
Approx. Height - 33cm
Approx. Diameter of base - 12.6cm
These Wine Jugs each have clear German Hallmarks.
The Jugs are in excellent condition with no damage.
