A beautiful pair of Antique French solid Silver and cut Glass Claret Jugs in a elegant Rococo design. The Jug has ornate shell, scroll and foliate design on the neck complimented by an elegant silver handle. The Jug has an ornate spread Silver Foot and the body of the Jug has a lovely writhen fluted pattern on the translucent glass.
Made in Paris, France in circa 1880 by Aucoc.
Approx. Height - 26.5cm
The Jugs are if a good heavy weight and are in excellent condition.
Each wine jug has a French Hallmark and is stamped Aucoc.
