A pair of elegant antique German silver & cut glass claret jugs with classic Jugendstil design elements. The Silver neck, lid and handles of the Wine Jugs feature beautiful Art Nouveau floral and foliate designs and the Lid has a stylised floral finial on the top. The body of the Jug has a plain faceted design with a starburst pattern cut into the base.
Made in Berlin, Germany in circa 1900 by J H Werner.
Made in 800 Standard Silver.
Measures: approx. height - 31.2cm
approx. diameter of base - 10.7cm
This pair of Art Nouveau Claret Jugs is in excellent condition with no damage.
The Jugs are each stamped JH Werner Berlin 800 with a serial number 31400.
