Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Cellini Jug Wine Claret Ewer 1866

A beautiful Classic Antique Victorian solid Silver Jug in the traditional 'Cellini' design. The Jug features rich, detailed chased patterning and a figural handle and thumb piece. The chased imagery shows classical faces, assorted animals including deer, goats and birds surrounded by stylised foliate designs. The Jug has a small engraving on the neck.

Made in London in 1866 by Alfred Ivory.
