Antique German Silver Gilt and Glass Decanter Bottle circa 1880 Red

A beautiful antique German silver gilt mounted decanter with a deep red glass body. The glass body is held in a chased silver gilt mount featuring columns topped with faces connected with swags of fruits and flowers. The Decanter has a silver gilt collar decorated with chased patterned bands and a silver gilt stopper topped with the figure of a cupid.
Made in Germany in circa 1880.
The Solid Silver is 835 Standard.
Measures: Approx. Height - 30.8cm
Approx. Width - 14.6cm
This Decanter is in excellent condition with no damage. There is some minor wear on the gilding commensurate with age and use.
