A fine Antique Georgian Irish Silver Loving Cup with an elegant classical form and a richly gilded interior.
The Cup has a deep, rounded body embellished with a finely engraved band of decorative foliate motifs beneath the rim. A delicate, vacant shield-shaped cartouche, framed by elegant engraved scrollwork, adorns the front of the Cup. Two impressive, sweeping scroll handles rise gracefully from either side of the body, while the Cup stands on an elegant stem and a spreading circular pedestal foot.
