A magnificent set of Four sterling Silver Military Models depicting members of the Lifeguards Regiment over the period, circa 1710 - 1830. Each figure is modelled with an incredible attention to detail, showing the uniform, equipment and weapons from each period. The figures each stand on a square black plinth with engraved plaques showing the details of the individual models.

The figures are as follows -
- 1st Marlborough Lifeguard - An officer of the Lifeguards wearing the uniform of circa 1710. (Approx. height - 38.6cm)
- Grenadier - A Lifeguards' Grenadier wearing the bearskin and open cut away coat of circa 1810.
(Approx. Height - 41.8cm)
- Waterloo Heavy Cavalry Lifeguard - An officer of the Heavy Cavalry, circa 1815 wearing a sabretache badge. (Approx. height - 42.5cm)
- Cavalry Lifeguard - A trooper wearing the universal pattern cavalry dress uniform of circa 1890.

The Plaque at the back of each model reads - Presented by the Staff of the EDS in the UK, December 1993.

Each figure contains between 2 and 3kgs of cast sterling silver.

Made in London in 1991 by Richard Comyns.

Signed/Inscribed: Full English Hallmarks on All. 2 Visible, 2 hidden by Plinths.

Each model is in excellent condition with no damage.
