A lovely mid-18th century Georgian solid Silver Snuffer Stand standing on four shell feet with a scroll handle and an elegantly shaped body. Originally a Snuffer Stand, these Trays are often used as Pen Trays on a desk.

Made in London in 1751 by William Cripps.

This Pen Tray is in excellent condition with no damage and a wonderful patina commensurate with age and use.
