A magnificent Antique George II Sterling Silver Gilt Inkwell with a rounded rectangular shape and a bold anthemion handle. The Inkstand Tray has a reeded border on the rim and two sunken wells for pens. The Inkstand has 3 removable pots with fitted lids. The Inkstand has an ornate border surrounding the pots and each pot has a matching chased design around the body.
Made in London, England in 1752 by William Cripps.

This Georgian Inkstand is in excellent condition with no damage. There is very minor wear to the gilding on the rims.
