A magnificent set of four vintage Sterling Silver Candlesticks in an octagonal shapes inspired by George I Candlesticks. The octagonal shape of the base is mirrored up the knopped column and on the removable sconce creating a cohesive design that is both clean and modern looking while referencing the early Georgian Designs of the 18th Century. These Candlesticks are loaded for increased stability and have solid silver bases.

Made in Sheffield, UK in 1942 by Mappin & Webb.

Approx. Depth of Base - 14.5cm

Each Silver Candlestick has a Full English Hallmark on the base and is part marked on the sconce.

This set of Silver Candlesticks is in excellent condition with no damage.
