A pair of Magnificent George III Neo Classical Adam style Solid Silver Two Light Candelabra that are able to convert into Candlesticks with the removal of the branches. The Candelabra have round bases decorated with a stylised laurel leaf band. The Candelabra have fluted three sided columns that are topped with impressive rams heads joined with laurel swags. The two branches have ornate scroll and acanthus leaf designs and the central finial is a stylised flaming urn with two rings. The Candelabra Base and the Sconces attached to the branches, as well as the removable sconces for the Candlesticks are each engraved with small crests.

Made in London in 1768 (Bases) and 1778 (Branches) by John Wakelin & William Taylor.
