A rare Antique Russian Silver and Cloisonné Enamel Box. This Enamelled Tobacco Jar is covered with an ornate richly coloured Enamel exterior and a gilded interior. The fitted domed lid has an impressive finial and the Box stands on a spread foot supported by four ball and claw feet. Unusually, the Box has a subtle monogram worked into the patterning on the one side of the band of decorative enameling.
