Large Antique Burmese Solid Silver Box Casket, circa 1920

A magnificent Antique Burmese solid Silver Box with a rounded rectangular form. The sides of the Box and the lid are embellished with chased ornate designs in deep relief. The chased designs on the Box show groups of figures surrounded by trees. The figures are all unique and alluded to a sense of dynamism and motion. The borders of the Casket are further decorated with pierced and engraved patterns.
