A beautiful ornate Antique Silver Centrepiece Bowl or Basket with a deep, oval body set on a pedestal foot, entirely covered in elaborate repoussé and chased decoration—scrolling foliage, flowers, and leafy motifs layered to form an elegant design. The Silver Basket has a fitted clear glass liner, suggesting it was meant for practical use—often for fruit, sweets, or serving—while protecting the silver from acids or moisture. The Silver Bowl features two sweeping side handles, each ending in a stylised bird finial.
