Antique George III Sterling Silver Basket 1771 Cake Fruit Bread Swing Handled

A beautiful Antique Georgian solid Silver Cake Basket with an elegant pierced pattern and a cast floral border. The Basket has stylised dragons on the handle and a large engraved armorial in the centre. The Basket stands on four scroll feet with decorative face capitals. Traditionally a Georgian Cake Basket, this basket is the perfect size for a fruit or a bread basket.

Made in London, England in 1771 by William Plummer.
