PAIR ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER HORSE STIRRUP CUPS IMPORT MARKS 1899

A wonderful Pair of Antique Victorian Solid Silver Stirrup Cups with impressively modelled Horse heads on top of tall ornately chased cups. Each Cup has an oval cartouche surrounded by a detailed chased border with a crest engraved in the centre. The rest of the cup is chased with a lovely floral, swag & bow design. The horses have raised heads and open mouths with flying manes, giving the illusion of movement. The interiors of the Cups are gilded. Continental Made. English Import Mark for 1899.
