An Antique Georgian Solid Silver Cheese Toasting Dish with a study wooden handle attached to a rectangular Pan. The Cheese Pan has a double walled base with a gadroon bordered rim and a hinged domed lid embellished with a fluted design. The Hinged lid is designed so it is removable and has a crest engraved on the front. Made in London in 1818 by Robert Garrard. Approx. Weight (Silver) - 1588g / 51oz Approx. Length incl.
