A gorgeous Antique Georgian Scottish Silver Tea Caddy Box embellished with a richly ornate chased design covered chinoiserie style elements. The one side of the Box has a blank shaped cartouche. The other three sides feature a central image of a figure in eastern style clothing. The four sides and lid are further chased with floral and scroll patterns. The box stads on four ornate feet. The box has a fitted rectangular domed lid and is topped with a floral finial. This Caddy is of good heavy weight end excellent quality. Date - 1823 (George IV) Made in Edinburgh Scotland.
