A magnificent Antique Irish Georgian Solid Silver Cake Basket. This Oval Basket is of substantial side and has a swing handle. The body of the basket is embellished with a detailed pierced and engraved design. There are four applied oval cartouches showing classical figures on the interior of the basket, and a matched cartouche on the handle. The basket stands on a pierced oval foot. Date - 1785.
