A Set of 12 Antique Georgian George III Sterling Silver Dinner Plates with traditional shaped Gadroon Pattern borders. Each Plate has two engraved crests on the Rim. The Right hand crest bears the motto Virtus Mille Scuta (Virtue is a thousand Shields) and the left hand side Tria Juncta in Uno (Three Joined into One). Date - 1782. Made in London. Maker - Daniel Smith & Richard Sharp. Approx. Total Weight - 6.7kg Approx. Diameter - 24cm / 9 1/2 inches
