An Antique Georgian George III Sterling Silver Teapot on Stand. This Georgian tea Pot has a classic plain Oval Can Shaped Form and stands on a simple Oval Teapot Stand. The Teapot has a subtle beaded border just below the domed hinged lid, and this beaded border is mirrored on the rim of the Tray.The Teapot has two bright cut engraved cartouches which is also seen on the tray. One of the cartouches on the teapot and the tray has an ornate monogram showing the letters ME. The tray stands on four ball & claw feet.
Date – 1784.
