An Antique Victorian Solid Britannia Standard (958) Silver Monteith Bowl in the traditional style. This Bowl is unusual in that it has a removable Moneith Rim, so the Bowl can be shown to have a plain rim as desired. The Bowl and Monteith Rim are bowl decorated with ornate chased deatails. The Rim featured the scalloped shaped edging topped with stylised faces typical of the Monteith design. The Body of the Bowl features a repeated chased pattern and the Bowl has two cast and applied handles on the sides and stands on a spread foot.
