ANTIQUE GEORGE II STERLING SILVER LIDDED TANKARD / BEER MUG 1753 GEORGIAN CHASED

An impressive Antique George II Solid Silver Beer Tankard / Lidded Beer Mug featuring a beautiful chased floral and scroll design. The Tankard has a plain shaped cartouche opposite the substantial scroll handle. The Tankard has a floral chased domed lid and stands on a spread pedestal fooy. The interior of the Tankard and lid are gilded.
Made in Newcastle, UK in 1753 by Isaac Cookson.
