STERLING SILVER TREASURY INKSTAND / INK WELL / DESK STANDISH 1925 COMYNS FOR TIFFANY & Co

A substantial Solid Silver Inkstand in the classic ‘Treasury’ Style as seen in examples from as early as the 17th Century. This is a particularly fine example of a large size with one large compartment on one side and three on the other, each topped with a hinged lid. The Inkstand stands on four ball feet and has shaped hinged handles on the shorter sides. Two oft he compartments have clear glass fitted inkwells inserted.
