An Irish Antique Victorian Solid Silver Jug / Ewer featuring a magnificent greyhound dog balanced on branches as the handle of the Ewer. The Body of the Jug is decorated with detailed chased floral, foliate and scroll designs. The Jug has a shaped blank cartouche opposite the handle topped with a chased Harp design. The finial on the hinged lid is a tree.
Made in Dublin, Ireland in 1843 by Robert W. Smith.
