PAIR ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER HORSE STIRRUP CUPS IMPORT MARKS 1899

A wonderful Pair of Antique Victorian Solid Silver Stirrup Cups with impressively modelled Horse heads on top of tall ornately chased cups. Each Cup has an oval cartouche surrounded by a detailed chased border with a crest engraved in the centre. The rest of the cup is chased with a lovely floral, swag & bow design. The horses have raised heads and open mouths with flying manes, giving the illusion of movement. The interiors of the Cups are gilded.
