A beautiful antique Irish sterling silver Coffee Pot with an elegant baluster shaped body and a shaped wooden handle. The body and the lid are decorated with detailed chased designs including images of birds, fish, flowers and scrolls. The base of the spout has a fluted design all the way around and the spout is topped with an acanthus leaf.

Made in Dublin, Ireland in circa 1769 by David Bomes.

The coffee pot is in excellent condition with no damage. The wooden handle has a small chip in it (see images), but is structurally very sound.
